You won't offend anyone by the lack of a signature, while almost anything you do write can be interpreted as cloying, annoying, rude, or condescending. I know some of you are saying, "people should get a thicker skin." Perhaps, but you have a vested interest in keeping the people you email happy. You wouldn't risk offending a client or your boss with an offensive joke. Why do it with an email signature?

"You can do a pretty good diagram of who the rebel forces are, what the number of foreign fighters are. We've come to the conclusion that there is an acceptable level of risk, understanding we will lose control of some of the weapons."WASHINGTON The United States and Germany on Friday warned Russia not to endanger a planned peace conference for Syria or alter the balance of power in the Middle East by providing an advanced air defense system to President Bashar Assad's embattled regime.

Two out of every three U.S. adults is overweight or obese, says the CDC, and that seems to be contributing to rising case rates for cancers of the esophagus, uterus, pancreas and kidney. Excess weight triggers production of insulin and certain hormones that can play a role in cancer growth, experts say.
